CANDLE FAQs
WHAT IS A HEALING CANDLE?

WHAT ARE SOTE CANDLES MADE OF?
Our candles are made with soy wax and blended with both fragrance and essential oils. Each of our candles incorporate dried rose pedals and are infused by a crystal during the pour process. When the candle has burned through, you will have a raw crystal approximately 1 inch in size.
ARE ALL YOUR INGREDIENTS ORGANIC?
All of our ingredients are handmade and homegrown. Our "Fragrance oils" use a grapeseed oil base and all ingredients are made by up through an organic process. There are no additive that you will find in other candles and skincare.
HOW LONG WILL MY CANDLE LAST?
Our 14.5 ounce candle should last for approximately 50-60 hours of burn time. The time of burn is not exact, but is pretty close! (We've tested it!)
WHAT IS THE CUSTOM CANDLE PROCESS?
We ask that you either select or share your intention for the candle. For example "Looking to achieve a positive mindset" or "Recovering from a breakup" - whatever you are feeling and need to serve, we will take that into consideration. You can select your own crystal from our list at check out, or we can select the crystal for you base on your situation. From there we will curate a candle that aligns from the fragrance oils to the crystal alignment. When your candle is shipped you will receive your detailed outline of your candle. We keep our customer candles on file in your "My Account" page should you want to reorder.
REIKI
WHAT DOES SEALED WITH REIKI MEAN?
Our creator is a Master Reiki Practitioner who seals the candles with intention using the symbols of distance healing, the power symbol, etc. This extra step allows for a transfer of intention and positive energy to illuminate every burn should you choose to receive it.
CAN I MAKE A REIKI APPOINTMENT?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of in-person and virtual appointments.

SKINCARE PRODUCTS
HOW DO I STORE MY SKINCARE?
We suggest you keep your skincare in the refrigerator. While it's not required, keeping it cooler provides a thicker consistency, and keeps all ingredients blended well.
IS THIS SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES?
It is! Please review the product page to review all the ingredients to make sure your body is not allergic to any of the natural ingredients. When in doubt, follow your instincts. If these are not for you, we are still sending good vibes your way and would rather you air on. the side of caution.
RETURNS
WHAT IS THE RETURN POLICY?
SHIPPING: All of our products are shipped within 3-5 days of purchase. Once the order is shipped you will receive the respective tracking number. Due to shipping delays across all carriers, we appreciate your patience as we navigate through these times.
RETURN POLICY: All of our products are final sale and are not returnable. Should your order be damaged in transit, we will issue a store credit only.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PRODUCT IS DAMAGED DURING SHOPPING?
All of our products are final sale and are not returnable. Should your order be damaged in transit, we will issue a store credit only. We will ask that you submit a picture to guide@sotecollective.com so we can use that for the USPS insurance process. We will ship your replacement order once that is received. If we are out of stock on your item, we will replace it with the closest item available.
